Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra Live: Congress will start ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’ from Manipur on Sunday (January 14) under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, through which its effort is to bring the issues related to unemployment, inflation and social justice at the center of discussion in the Lok Sabha elections. This yatra will start from Thobal near Imphal, the capital of Manipur, on January 14 and will conclude in Mumbai in the third week of March.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will flag off this yatra. Congress had said on Saturday that ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is not an electoral but an ideological journey and it is being carried out against the “injustice period” of the last 10 years of the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, a day before the start of the yatra, had targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that today the country is facing the challenge of an ideology which believes in polarization, making the rich richer and political dictatorship. .
Before starting the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’, Rahul Gandhi will pay tribute to the martyrs at the Khongjom War Memorial in Thobal. This is a historical monument, which was inaugurated by the then President Pranab Mukherjee in 2016. During the journey, Rahul Gandhi will address two meetings every day.
Apart from this, he will meet 20 to 25 people from different sections of the society every day. He will also interact with members of social organizations. During the next 11 days, the yatra will pass through five states of North-East India.
Rahul Gandhi will hold a public interaction with the people in Guwahati on January 23 in connection with the manifesto.
